The Moroso Performance Oil Pan is engineered specifically for small block Chevy engines, making it suitable for use in sprint cars and any chassis without a crossmember under the engine. With a capacity of 9.5 quarts and a depth of 7-1/4 inches, this oil pan features a wet sump design that ensures optimal oil management during high-performance racing conditions. The advanced oil containment system includes five trap door baffles and a diagonal runner, effectively directing oil to the pump and reducing the risk of oil starvation.
Constructed from fully fabricated aluminum, the oil pan includes billet end seals that provide a consistent sealing surface, enhancing durability and performance. The large kick-out design not only maximizes horsepower but also aids in oil temperature reduction, making it a critical component for competitive racing. Additionally, the pan is equipped with a crank scraper and windage tray, further improving oil control and engine efficiency.
