The Moroso Performance Oil Pan is engineered specifically for Gen IV Big Block Chevy engines equipped with a 168 tooth flexplate. This oil pan is designed for competitive applications such as Competition Eliminator, Super Gas, Super Comp, and Bracket Cars, providing a 7 quart capacity to ensure optimal oil supply during high-performance driving. The 8 inch sump depth and external oil pump compatibility enhance its utility in demanding racing environments.
Constructed from fully fabricated aluminum, this oil pan features billet end seals that guarantee a consistent sealing surface with billet front covers and rear main caps. The double kick-out design accommodates up to a 4.75 inch stroke with aluminum rods, allowing for wide main cap clearance and maximizing horsepower potential. Additionally, the full-length solid louvered windage tray with main cap partitions aids in oil control and power efficiency.
The oil pan includes a sump-mounted billet aluminum pickup that accepts a -16AN male fitting, ensuring reliable oil delivery. It is equipped with a one O-ring magnetic drain plug, two -8AN drain backs, and an alternator notch for added convenience. The pump adjustment bung with plug further enhances its functionality, making it a comprehensive solution for serious racers.
