The Moroso Performance Oil Pan is engineered specifically for Gen IV Big Block Chevy engines utilizing a 168 tooth flexplate. This oil pan is designed for use in competitive racing environments such as Competition Eliminator, Super Gas, Super Comp, and Bracket Cars. With a capacity of 7 quarts and a sump depth of 8 inches, it provides ample oil storage and management for high-performance applications.
Constructed from fully fabricated aluminum, this oil pan features billet end seals that ensure a consistent sealing surface to both billet front covers and rear main caps. The double kick-out design accommodates up to a 4.75 inch stroke with aluminum rods, allowing for wide main cap clearance and maximizing horsepower potential. Additionally, the solid louvered windage tray with main cap partitions enhances oil control and power efficiency.
The sump design is compatible with Moroso spur gear and gerotor billet oil pumps, making it a versatile choice for serious racers. It includes two O-ring magnetic drain plugs and two 8AN drain backs, along with notches for the torque converter and alternator, ensuring comprehensive functionality for high-performance setups.
