The Moog Ball Joint Problem Solver is engineered to provide reliable steering and suspension performance. This press-in type ball joint features a powdered-metal gusher bearing that allows grease to penetrate bearing surfaces, reducing friction and enhancing strength. The hardened ball stud is made from OE equivalent or better materials, ensuring it can withstand higher loads for improved durability.
The premium forged housing is designed with an increased cross-section, providing up to 52 percent more material in critical areas for added strength. Additionally, the patent pending dust boot with an encapsulated Belleville washer helps control both axial and radial movement, contributing to the longevity of the component. The larger grease reservoir and pre-tapped grease fitting hole facilitate easy maintenance, allowing for the flushing of contaminants and reducing corrosion and wear.
This ball joint is non-adjustable and rebuildable, making it a practical choice for OEM applications. With its greasable design, it ensures that new lubricant can be introduced, further enhancing the performance and lifespan of the steering and suspension system.
