The Moog Ball Joint Problem Solver is engineered to provide reliable steering and suspension performance. This non-adjustable ball joint features a hardened ball stud made from OE equivalent materials, ensuring it can withstand higher loads and deliver long-lasting service. The premium forged housing is designed with an increased cross-section, providing up to 52 percent more material in critical areas for added strength and durability.
Incorporating a powdered metal gusher bearing design, this ball joint allows grease to flow through the bearing to the stud, significantly reducing friction and enhancing overall strength. The patent pending dust boot, combined with an encapsulated Belleville washer, effectively controls both axial and radial movement, ensuring optimal performance under various driving conditions. Additionally, the larger grease reservoir and pre-tapped grease fitting hole facilitate improved maintenance, allowing for easy lubrication and reduced wear.
The greasable socket design helps to minimize corrosion and wear by enabling new lubricant to flush out contaminants, thereby extending the life of the component. This ball joint is a single unit, suitable for OEM applications, and includes dust boots for added protection.
