The Monroe Sensa-Trac shock absorber is designed to improve the ride, handling, and safety characteristics of passenger vehicles. The unique precision tapered grooves in the pressure tube work in conjunction with application engineered valving to provide a consistent and controlled ride experience.
Constructed with a Fluon banded piston, the Monroe Sensa-Trac offers enhanced sealing between the piston and pressure tube, resulting in increased durability and better control. The nitrogen gas charged design helps maintain tire to road contact by reducing aeration, which contributes to improved ride quality and handling. Additionally, the larger bore size compared to most shocks allows for more efficient and consistent control over various driving conditions.
This shock absorber is built with all weather fluid that contains special modifiers to reduce friction, ensuring smooth rod reaction. The full displaced valving is specifically tuned for each application, automatically adjusting to road extremes for a consistent ride.
