The Mishimoto XL Baffled Oil Catch Can is engineered to effectively separate oil particles from PCV and CCV air, preventing harmful blow-by from re-entering the intake system. With a 7.5-ounce capacity, this catch can is designed to handle significant blow-by, extending servicing intervals and maintaining engine cleanliness. Constructed from 100 percent billet 6061 aluminum, it features a durable anodized black finish and is sealed with Viton O-Rings to ensure no captured blow-by escapes.

This catch can incorporates a 50-micron bronze filter that allows clean air to pass through while trapping oil particles. An internal air diverter enhances air turbulence, improving oil separation efficiency. The design includes two CNC-machined aluminum barbed hose fittings for easy installation, making it compatible with various CCV and PCV systems. The universal mounting bracket allows for flexible installation angles, accommodating different vehicle setups.

Maintenance is simplified with a removable drain plug, enabling easy return of collected oil to the oil pan. Unlike traditional air-oil separator systems, the Mishimoto catch can does not heat the blow-by, allowing for better condensation of low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors. This innovative design ensures that harmful blow-by is permanently trapped, protecting the engine from potential damage.
