Mishimoto has engineered a direct-fit catch can kit specifically for the 2019 and newer Ranger equipped with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine. This catch can effectively intercepts blow-by gases, preventing harmful substances from entering the intake system and coating the intake valves. By utilizing an internal baffle and air diverters, the catch can condenses oil, fuel, and water vapor, ensuring that only clean air flows into the engine.
The system features a 50 Micron bronze filter at the outlet, which captures carbon and other particulates, further enhancing the cleanliness of the intake air. The CNC-machined aluminum barbed fittings provide a secure connection between the lines and the catch can, ensuring durability and reliability. Additionally, the internal air diverter increases air turbulence, which improves oil separation and helps maintain proper octane levels, reducing the risk of detonation.
