The core dimensions measure 25.7 inches in width, 12.5 inches in height, and 5 inches in thickness, providing a substantial increase in core volume compared to factory options.
Constructed with a bar-and-plate design and cast aluminum end tanks, this intercooler features a 76.65 percent increase in external fin surface area, which significantly enhances heat dissipation. The internal fins are meticulously designed to maximize heat transfer while minimizing pressure drop, ensuring efficient performance under various driving conditions. The 3-inch mandrel-bent polished aluminum piping included in the kit further supports smooth airflow, eliminating restrictive bends that can hinder performance.
Mishimoto's DuraCore technology is utilized in the silicone boots, offering superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oil. This innovation extends the lifespan of the components and reduces the risk of leaks or blowouts. The kit also includes three air diversion panels, a replacement lower fan shroud, two mounting brackets, two aluminum pipes, four silicone boots, and eight constant tension T-bolt clamps, all designed for durability and reliability.
