Maretron's tank monitor system utilizes advanced ultrasonic technology to accurately sense fluid levels in various tank types, including diesel, fresh water, waste water, black water, and oil tanks. This system is designed to measure fluid levels in tanks up to 40 inches deep, providing a reliable solution without the complications of long probes that can corrode or foul. The ultrasonic sensor transmits sound waves from the top of the tank, measuring the time it takes for the waves to return, ensuring precise level readings.
The tank monitor system supports up to 16 programmable tank types and can accommodate irregularly shaped tanks through a 16-point calibration process. This flexibility allows users to monitor multiple tanks effectively, with the capability to track up to 16 tanks per type. The system connects seamlessly to the NMEA 2000 network, enabling users to view tank levels on compatible displays, such as Maretron's N2KView or DSM570 color graphics displays.
With a robust design featuring IP67 waterproofing, reverse battery protection, and load dump protection, the Maretron tank monitor system is built to withstand harsh marine environments. It operates within a wide temperature range, ensuring reliable performance in various conditions. The system comes complete with a gasket, a packet of petroleum jelly, and a user manual for easy installation and maintenance.
