The Lokar Performance Parking Brake Cable is engineered for use with Lokar's Transmount Emergency Hand Brake, providing a robust solution for effective braking. This kit includes a mounting bracket and features high-quality one-piece aluminum adjusters and ferrules, which prevent fraying of the stainless steel housing. The outer housing is designed with a specially extruded liner that enhances the longevity of the cable, ensuring consistent performance over time.
The stainless steel inner cable is resistant to moisture, contributing to the overall durability of the system. A key design feature allows for the removal of rear end backing plate fittings without the need to detach the brake cables, simplifying maintenance and installation. This kit includes two 8-foot outer housings that can be cut to fit, making it versatile for various applications including 8-inch and 9-inch Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, and Lincoln Versailles drum and disc brakes.
