The Lokar Performance Accelerator Pedal is engineered for 1967 to 1969 Camaro and Firebird models, providing a direct replacement for the factory throttle pedal assembly. This assembly is designed to mount to the firewall, allowing for a seamless transition from rod linkage to throttle cable linkage. Constructed from durable billet aluminum, it features a brushed finish and ball milled design, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and long-lasting performance.
The throttle pedal assembly incorporates a spring-loaded pad that mimics the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) design, ensuring reliable operation. The arms are splined, allowing for fine adjustments and the option to switch between right and left positioning of the throttle pad. This feature enhances user comfort and control during operation.
Additionally, the throttle pad replaces the factory pad and mounts onto the existing factory arm and spring, making installation straightforward. The design is a direct fit, eliminating the need for modifications. Billet aluminum brake and clutch covers are also available, designed to fit over the stock Camaro steel pad, further enhancing the overall look and functionality of the pedal assembly.
