Life Seal Marine Caulk Sealant is a specialized product designed for use in various marine applications, providing a reliable watertight seal. This unique formulation combines marine silicone and polyurethane, making it suitable for fiberglass and other materials such as metal, glass, wood, Lexan, and ABS plastic. The sealant cures quickly, is low odor, and offers high adhesion without sagging, ensuring a strong bond even in challenging conditions.
This caulk is effective for sealing decks to hulls, thru-hull fittings, vinyl ports, and glazing windshields, as well as bedding marine hardware. It is designed to be used both above and below the waterline, making it versatile for different marine environments. Additionally, it is mildew resistant and acid-free, enhancing its durability and longevity.
Life Seal can be removed without damaging the gel-coat, which is a significant advantage for maintenance and repairs. However, it is not recommended for use on ferro cement hulls, impregnated wood, or oil-soaked materials. With a 10.5-ounce cartridge, this non-paintable sealant is an essential tool for any marine maintenance task.
