Life Seal Marine Caulk Sealant is a specialized product designed for use in various marine applications. This unique formulation combines marine silicone and polyurethane, making it particularly effective for fiberglass surfaces. It offers a fast-curing, low odor, and high adhesion solution that is non-sagging and non-corrosive, ensuring a reliable seal for joints that may experience structural movement.
This sealant is suitable for both above and below the waterline, making it versatile for sealing decks to hulls, thru-hull fittings, and vinyl ports. It is also effective for sealing and glazing windshields and bedding marine hardware. Life Seal adheres well to a variety of materials including metal, glass, wood, Lexan, and ABS plastic, providing a strong bond that can withstand marine conditions.
Additionally, the product is mildew resistant and acid-free, ensuring longevity and durability in harsh environments. It can be removed without damaging the gel-coat, making maintenance easier. However, it is not recommended for use on ferro cement hulls, impregnated wood, or oil-soaked materials. Life Seal cures in the presence of water, making it an ideal choice for marine applications.
