The Lewmar Pro-Fish Horizontal Mount Windlass is engineered for robust anchoring capabilities, featuring a maximum pull of 1000 pounds and a working load limit of 250 pounds. This windlass operates at a line speed of 105 feet per minute, ensuring quick and efficient deployment and retrieval of anchors. Constructed from durable stainless steel, it is designed to withstand harsh marine environments while providing reliable performance.
This model includes an automatic freefall mechanism, allowing for easy anchor dropping without the need to access the windlass directly. The redesigned control arm enhances performance with higher spring tension and a modified profile, while the closed cell neoprene gasket protects internal components from water intrusion. The unique Pro-Guard feature prevents rope jumps and snags, ensuring smooth operation.
The windlass is compatible with various chain and rope sizes, accommodating 8 millimeter DIN 766 and 5/16 inch BBB chains, as well as 14 to 16 millimeter 3-strand and 8-plait ropes. It comes equipped with essential installation accessories, including a base gasket seal, fast mounting studs, an installation wrench, a circuit breaker, and a dual-direction solenoid with a rocker switch for user-friendly operation.
