The MonoMax's robust construction includes a zinc-coated steel piston ring and a thick rubber dust boot, which protects the shaft from dirt and debris, thereby extending the lifespan of the shock. This shock absorber is particularly effective for vehicles equipped with larger aftermarket wheels, as it offers up to 40 percent more damping compared to traditional twin-tube designs.
