The K&N NextGen cold air intake system is designed to optimize engine performance by increasing airflow and enhancing horsepower. Constructed from high-density polyethylene, the rotationally molded tube improves airflow by 30.8 percent, resulting in an increase of 19.07 horsepower and 19.37 torque without the need for tuning. This system features a washable and reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter made from oiled cotton filter media, allowing for up to 100,000 miles of use under normal driving conditions.
The NextGen airbox is engineered to lower air temperatures and protect intake air from contaminants, featuring a semi-enclosed design and an enlarged fresh air inlet for improved airflow. The oversized air filter is designed with increased surface area and a radius-entry design to further enhance performance. Additionally, the large-diameter intake tube is CAD-designed with strategically positioned air channels to boost airspeed and deliver more air to the engine.
Installation is simplified with reduced mounting hardware and Quick-Lock technology that allows the filter to snap into place securely. The K&N NextGen cold air intake system not only enhances the performance of your vehicle but also adds a stylish touch to your engine bay.
