The K & N Filters 63 Series AirCharger is designed to improve engine performance by increasing airflow. Constructed from high-density polyethylene, the rotationally-molded tube enhances the volume of air entering the engine, resulting in a measurable increase in horsepower and torque. This system features a washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter made from oiled cotton filter media, which allows for extended service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions.
The oversized conical design of the air filter ensures exceptional filtration while maintaining high airflow rates. A custom heat shield is included to protect the intake air from the elevated temperatures found in the engine bay, ensuring optimal performance. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in less than 90 minutes using simple hand tools, making it accessible for most users.
