The K&N Cold Air Intake System is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing in select Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, and Chrysler 300 models. By facilitating a larger volume of air intake, it enhances engine power and acceleration across the RPM range.
This intake system features a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and includes a heat shield that fits into the original air box space. The aerodynamically designed intake tube directs air efficiently into the engine's throttle body, ensuring a guaranteed power gain. The tube is compatible with the factory air temperature sensor and crank case vent line, making it a seamless upgrade.
The oversized cone-shaped air filter is washable and reusable, with a service interval of up to 100,000 miles depending on driving conditions. Installation is straightforward, typically completed in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points and basic tools. This system not only improves throttle response and engine sound but also contributes to the overall efficiency of the vehicle.
