The K&N NextGen cold air intake system is designed specifically for Jeep Wrangler models, utilizing high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for optimal airflow. This system increases airflow volume by 46.7 percent, resulting in a gain of 21.34 horsepower and 25.2 torque without the need for engine tuning. The included washable and reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter, made from oiled cotton filter media, allows for extended service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal driving conditions.
A custom-designed NextGen air box is integrated to protect intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring cooler air enters the engine for improved performance. The oversized air filter features a radius-entry design that enhances airflow, while the large-diameter intake tube is engineered with strategically positioned air channels to boost airspeed and deliver more air to the engine.
Installation is straightforward, typically taking less than 60 minutes, thanks to reduced mounting hardware and quick-lock technology that secures the filter in place. This intake system not only enhances engine performance but also adds a stylish touch to the engine bay.
