The inclusion of a custom heat shield protects the intake air from the high temperatures present in the engine bay, ensuring cooler air enters the engine for better combustion efficiency.
Installation of the K&N intake system is straightforward, typically taking less than 90 minutes with basic hand tools. This product replaces the factory air filter and intake tube, providing a direct performance upgrade. The filter is engineered for high airflow and exceptional filtration, allowing for improved engine breathing while maintaining engine protection.
Under normal highway driving conditions, the filter only requires cleaning every 100,000 miles, making it a low-maintenance option for performance enthusiasts.
