The Ironman 4x4 IM2.5 coil over shock absorber is designed to enhance the suspension performance of 4x4 vehicles. Constructed from extruded T6-6061 aircraft grade aluminum, this shock absorber features a robust monotube design that optimizes heat dissipation, ensuring consistent performance during demanding off-road conditions. The 57 millimeter CNC billet aluminum piston and non-adjustable valving provide a smooth ride, whether navigating urban streets or rugged terrains.
With a 3 inch lift and a pigtail spring, the IM2.5 is engineered for vehicle-specific tuning, allowing for improved handling and comfort. The Type 2 hard anodized exterior enhances durability, while the 3-4 millimeter thick body walls are strategically mounted upside down to protect against off-road impacts. Additionally, the shock is equipped with a robust dirt shield to safeguard the internal components, including the 20 millimeter hardened steel rod and NOK seals.
The IM2.5 comes fully assembled with a pre-matched coil and strut, simplifying installation. Its inline design with a billet aluminum internal floating piston and high-pressure nitrogen gas ensures reliability and performance without the complexity of a remote reservoir. This shock absorber is a single unit, making it a practical choice for those seeking a dependable suspension solution for both on and off-road adventures.
