This shock absorber features a 57mm CNC billet aluminum piston that maximizes internal capacity, allowing for optimal fine-tuning of the suspension system. The low-speed bleed ports incorporated into the large-diameter piston ensure a smooth ride across various terrains, from urban streets to rugged off-road trails.
Constructed from T6-6061 aircraft grade aluminum, the IM2.5 is designed to efficiently manage heat, being up to four times more effective than steel in heat dissipation. This is crucial for maintaining performance during extended use. The monotube design further enhances cooling efficiency by providing a larger surface area for heat exchange, ensuring that the internal hydraulic fluids remain at optimal temperatures.
