The Intellitec Fresh Water Pump Control Module is engineered for use in 12 Volt DC systems, functioning as a low side remote switch. This versatile controller is primarily designed to manage domestic water pumps in RVs and boats, but it can also control various loads such as lighting and fans, enhancing operational flexibility. Packaged in a durable plastic enclosure, the module is easy to install near the water pump using two flathead screws, ensuring a secure fit.
This control module minimizes the need for heavy gauge wiring throughout the vehicle, streamlining installation and reducing labor costs. It allows for signaling from multiple points along a single wire, utilizing inexpensive momentary contact switches to ground. The simplified switch design increases reliability, while the negligible standby current makes this system more efficient compared to traditional multipoint relay switching.
Power can be supplied from either the battery or a converter, making it adaptable to various setups.
