This kit addresses potential failures of the front upper shock mount and shock stem bushing under demanding conditions. By reinforcing the factory upper shock mount, it ensures that the shock stem bushing is captured and retained in the event of an OEM failure, providing added security and reliability.
Constructed from high-quality CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum, this strut mount kit features a black anodized finish that offers excellent corrosion resistance. The installation process is straightforward and does not require jacking up the vehicle or removing the tire, making it accessible for most users. Simply remove the three coilover top mount nuts, install the reinforcement plate, and re-torque the nuts for a secure fit.
This kit is sold as a set of two and includes all necessary mounting hardware. Importantly, the reinforcement does not affect or limit the factory suspension operation or performance, allowing for continued optimal handling and ride quality.
