The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series shock absorbers are designed to enhance vehicle performance both off-road and on the street. These shocks feature a nitrogen gas charged monotube design with a remote reservoir, which improves heat dissipation and reduces shock fade during extended use. Each shock is specifically tuned for its application, ensuring optimal damping and ride quality. The 6061 aircraft grade aluminum components and precision machined steel body provide maximum durability and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for demanding environments.
With adjustable valving, the Icon 2.5 Series shocks allow for customization of compression damping force across ten levels, accommodating various driving conditions. The unique internal design includes a "Bump Zone" that increases damping force by 20 percent, preventing harsh bottom outs and enhancing suspension control during high-velocity compressions. Additionally, the shocks are 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable, ensuring longevity and performance consistency over time.
These shocks come as a set of two and require specific mounting brackets for installation. The 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened shock shaft and one-piece digressive piston design contribute to the overall performance, providing a smooth ride and superior handling. The polyurethane bushings and forged steel mounting stems ensure a factory-type fitment, making these shocks a reliable choice for vehicle enthusiasts.
