The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is engineered to enhance vehicle performance both off-road and on paved surfaces. This nitrogen gas charged shock features a monotube design with a piggyback reservoir, which improves heat dissipation and reduces shock fade during extended use. The unique internal Bump Zone increases damping force by 20 percent, providing better control and preventing harsh bottom outs during high-velocity compression.
Constructed from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, these shocks are built for durability and longevity. The one-piece digressive piston design is tailored with application-specific valving, ensuring optimal ride quality and performance across various terrains. The 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shock shaft contributes to the overall strength and reliability of the shock absorber.
With a focus on consistent suspension damping, the premium grade 5WT shock oil maintains performance across a wide temperature range. The Icon 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable, allowing for customization and maintenance to suit specific driving needs.
