The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is designed to enhance vehicle performance both off-road and on the street. This nitrogen gas charged shock features a monotube design that ensures consistent damping across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for various driving conditions. The shock is built with 6061 aircraft grade aluminum components and a robust 1026 DOM steel body, providing maximum durability and resistance to corrosion.
Each shock is configured specifically for its application, ensuring optimal length and damping characteristics. The one-piece digressive piston design, combined with application specific valving, delivers exceptional ride quality and performance. The shock is also 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable, allowing for maintenance and customization over time.
With a 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened shock shaft and polyurethane bushings, this shock absorber is engineered for a factory-type fitment. The absence of a remote reservoir does not compromise its performance, as the internal design effectively manages heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
