The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is designed to enhance vehicle performance both off-road and on the street. This shock absorber features a nitrogen gas charged monotube design that ensures consistent damping across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for various driving conditions. The unique one-piece digressive piston design, combined with vehicle specific valving, provides exceptional ride quality and handling, preventing harsh bottom outs during high-velocity compression.
Constructed from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and precision machined 1026 DOM steel, the shock body is built for maximum durability and corrosion resistance. The 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shock shaft contributes to the overall strength and longevity of the product. Additionally, the shock is 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable, allowing for maintenance and customization to meet specific performance needs.
With a focus on performance, the Icon 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is engineered to provide a smooth ride while maintaining control during off-road excursions. The absence of a remote reservoir simplifies installation while still delivering effective heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
