The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is designed to enhance vehicle performance both off-road and on the street. This nitrogen gas charged shock features a monotube design that ensures consistent damping across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for various driving conditions. The shock is built with 6061 aircraft grade aluminum components and a robust 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened shock shaft, providing durability and resistance to corrosion.
Each shock is configured specifically for its application, ensuring optimal length and damping tune for the best ride quality. The one-piece digressive piston design, combined with application specific valving, delivers superior performance and control, preventing harsh bottom outs during high-velocity compression. Additionally, the shock is 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable, allowing for maintenance and adjustments as needed.
With a focus on heat dissipation, the design includes a unique internal bump zone that increases damping force by 20 percent, enhancing suspension control. The shock body is precision machined from CAD plated 1026 DOM steel, ensuring maximum durability. This set of two shocks is engineered for vehicle-specific fitment, making installation straightforward and efficient.
