The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is engineered to enhance vehicle performance both off-road and on the street. This nitrogen gas charged shock features a remote reservoir that improves heat dissipation, reducing shock fade during extended use. The unique internal 'Bump Zone' design increases damping force by 20 percent, providing superior control as the shock approaches full compression, which helps prevent harsh bottom outs and maintains suspension control during high-velocity compressions.
Constructed from one-piece, hard anodized, impact-extruded aluminum, these shocks offer excellent corrosion resistance and a consistent finish. The monotube design, combined with vehicle-specific valving, ensures optimal performance and ride quality across various driving conditions. Additionally, the shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable, allowing for customization to meet specific performance needs.
With a 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shock shaft, these shocks are built for durability and reliability.
