The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is engineered to enhance both off-road performance and on-road comfort. This shock features a nitrogen gas charged monotube design with a remote reservoir, which improves heat dissipation and reduces shock fade during extended use. The unique internal 'Bump Zone' increases damping by 20 percent, providing enhanced control as the shock approaches full compression, making it suitable for various terrains.
Equipped with Icon's CDE Valve Technology, these shocks allow for in-vehicle adjustment of compression damping settings, enabling users to tailor their ride experience based on real-time conditions. The electronically controlled valve reacts in less than 40 milliseconds, ensuring precise adjustments for optimal performance. The one-piece digressive piston design, combined with vehicle-specific valving, ensures superior ride quality both on and off the road.
Constructed from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, these shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable, ensuring longevity and adaptability to changing driving conditions. The 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shock shaft, along with PTFE lined spherical bearings, contributes to the overall durability and performance of the shock absorber.
