The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is designed to enhance vehicle performance both off-road and on the street. This shock features a nitrogen gas charged monotube design with a remote reservoir, which improves heat dissipation and reduces shock fade during extended use. The unique internal 'Bump Zone' created by a 6061 billet aluminum manifold increases damping force by 20 percent, effectively preventing harsh bottom outs and maintaining control during high-velocity compression.
Constructed with 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and a 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened chrome plated shock shaft, this shock absorber ensures maximum durability and corrosion resistance. The one-piece digressive piston design is tailored with vehicle specific valving, providing unmatched performance and ride quality. Additionally, the shock is 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable, allowing for long-term use and adaptability to changing conditions.
With precision machined 1026 DOM steel shock body and polyurethane bushings, the Icon 2.5 Series Shock Absorber offers an OE factory type fitment. This set of two shocks is engineered for vehicle specific applications, ensuring optimal performance tailored to your vehicle's needs.
