The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series shock absorber is designed to enhance vehicle performance both off-road and on the street. This nitrogen gas charged shock features a monotube design with a remote reservoir, allowing for improved heat dissipation and reduced shock fade during extended use. The unique 6061 billet aluminum manifold creates an internal bump zone, providing an additional 20 percent damping force to prevent harsh bottom outs and maintain control during high-velocity compression.
Constructed with aircraft-grade aluminum and precision machined components, the shock absorber ensures maximum durability and corrosion resistance. The 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shock shaft and one-piece digressive piston design deliver vehicle-specific valving for optimal ride quality. With adjustable valving, users can customize the compression damping force across ten levels, allowing for tailored performance based on driving conditions.
The Icon 2.5 Series shocks are 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable, ensuring longevity and adaptability to changing performance needs. Polyurethane bushings and forged steel mounting stems provide a factory-type fitment, making installation straightforward. This set of two shocks is specifically engineered for vehicle applications, ensuring a precise fit and enhanced driving experience.
