The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is engineered for exceptional performance both on and off-road. This shock features a nitrogen gas charged monotube design with a remote reservoir, enhancing heat dissipation and reducing shock fade during extended use. The unique internal 'Bump Zone' increases damping by 20 percent, providing improved control as the shock approaches full compression, which is crucial for maintaining stability in challenging terrains.
Equipped with ICON's Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV), these shocks allow for precise adjustments to the damping force, reacting in less than 40 milliseconds to varying conditions. This system utilizes data from onboard sensors to optimize performance, ensuring that the vehicle adapts seamlessly to different driving environments. The one-piece, hard anodized aluminum construction offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability, making it suitable for rigorous applications.
