The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is designed to enhance vehicle performance both on and off-road. This nitrogen gas charged shock features a monotube design with a remote reservoir, allowing for improved heat dissipation and reduced shock fade during extended use. The shock is built with 6061 aircraft grade aluminum components and a precision machined steel body, ensuring maximum durability and corrosion resistance.
With adjustable valving, the Icon 2.5 Series allows for fine-tuning of compression damping, providing 10 levels of adjustment to suit various driving conditions. The unique internal 'Bump Zone' design increases damping force by 20 percent, preventing harsh bottom outs and maintaining control during high-velocity compression. Each shock is 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable, ensuring long-term performance and adaptability.
The shock features a 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shock shaft and a one-piece digressive piston design tailored for specific vehicle applications. Polyurethane bushings and forged steel mounting stems provide an OE factory type fitment, making installation straightforward. This set of two shocks is an essential upgrade for those seeking enhanced suspension performance.
