The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is designed to enhance vehicle performance both off-road and on the street. This shock absorber features a nitrogen gas charged monotube design, ensuring consistent damping across a wide temperature range. The unique one-piece digressive piston design is tailored for specific vehicle applications, providing exceptional ride quality and handling characteristics. Built with 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and precision machined components, this shock absorber is both durable and lightweight, making it suitable for rigorous use.
With a 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened chrome plated shock shaft, the 2.5 Series offers increased strength and resistance to wear. The internal design includes a specialized 'Bump Zone' that enhances damping force, preventing harsh bottom outs during high-velocity compression. This shock absorber is 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable, allowing for long-term use and adaptability to changing performance needs. The gray steel body is CAD plated for maximum durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring longevity in various environments.
