The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is designed to enhance vehicle performance both on and off-road. This nitrogen gas charged shock features a monotube design that provides consistent damping across a wide temperature range, ensuring optimal ride quality. The shock is built with 6061 aircraft grade aluminum components and a robust 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened shock shaft, contributing to its durability and resistance to corrosion.
Each shock is configured specifically for its application, with vehicle specific valving that allows for superior performance tailored to the needs of the vehicle. The unique internal design includes a 'Bump Zone' that increases damping force by 20 percent, effectively preventing harsh bottom outs during high velocity compression. This design not only improves ride quality but also enhances control during off-road conditions.
The Icon 2.5 Series shocks are 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable, allowing for maintenance and adjustments as needed. With a precision machined steel shock body and polyurethane bushings, these shocks ensure a factory type fitment and reliable performance. The set includes two shocks, making it a comprehensive solution for vehicle suspension enhancement.
