The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is designed to enhance vehicle performance both on and off the road. This nitrogen gas charged shock features a monotube design that provides consistent damping across a wide temperature range, ensuring optimal ride quality. The shock is built with 6061 aircraft grade aluminum components and a robust 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened shock shaft, contributing to its durability and resistance to corrosion.
Each shock is configured specifically for its application, with vehicle specific valving that maximizes performance. The one piece digressive piston design allows for superior handling and control, particularly during high velocity compression. The absence of a remote reservoir does not compromise its efficiency, as the internal design includes a unique bump zone that increases damping force by 20 percent, preventing harsh bottom outs.
With a focus on rebuildability and revalveability, these shocks can be maintained for long-term use, making them a practical choice for serious off-road enthusiasts. The set includes two shocks, designed for easy installation with included hardware, ensuring a factory type fitment.
