The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Series Shock Absorber is designed to enhance vehicle performance both off-road and on the street. This nitrogen gas charged shock features a monotube design that ensures consistent damping across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for various driving conditions. The shock is built with 6061 aircraft grade aluminum components and a robust 1026 DOM steel body, providing maximum durability and corrosion resistance.
Each shock is configured specifically for its application, ensuring optimal length and damping tune for your vehicle. The one-piece digressive piston design, combined with application specific valving, delivers exceptional ride quality and performance. Additionally, the shock is 100 percent rebuildable and revalveable, allowing for maintenance and customization over time.
With a 7/8 inch diameter induction hardened chrome plated shock shaft, the Icon 2.5 Series is engineered to withstand the rigors of off-road driving. The absence of a remote reservoir does not compromise its performance, as the internal design includes a unique bump zone that increases damping force by 20 percent, preventing harsh bottom outs during high-velocity compression.
