The Icon Vehicle Dynamics 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are meticulously designed to enhance both off-road performance and on-road comfort. Each shock is tailored to specific vehicle applications, ensuring optimal length and damping characteristics. The shocks feature a unique internal Bump Zone created by a 6061-billet aluminum manifold, which increases damping force by 20 percent, effectively preventing harsh bottom outs during high-velocity compression.
Incorporating ICON's CDC Valve technology, these shocks provide 10 levels of adjustable compression damping, allowing for precise tuning based on driving conditions. The one-piece, hard anodized aluminum cylinders offer excellent corrosion resistance, while the premium grade shock oil ensures consistent performance across a wide temperature range.
The nitrogen charged monotube design, combined with a digressive piston and vehicle-specific valving, delivers exceptional ride quality both on and off the road. With features such as PTFE lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware, these shocks are built for durability and reliability.
