The Hotchkis Tuned 1.5 Street Performance Series shock absorbers are engineered for specific GM models, including the 1978 to 1988 G Body Grand National Monte Carlo and the 1964 to 1972 A-Body Chevelle GTO. These shock absorbers utilize cutting-edge mono tube technology, featuring a lightweight aluminum body that is hard anodized for durability. The design incorporates digressive disc technology and a high-flow piston, ensuring consistent performance across various driving conditions and temperatures.
Each shock is application-tuned to provide superior ride comfort while maintaining optimal vehicle control. The use of high-pressure nitrogen and specially formulated oil enhances the shock's responsiveness. Additionally, the rod guide is equipped with a dual seal system that prevents contaminants from entering, thereby extending the lifespan of the shock absorbers.
Constructed from black anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum and featuring polyurethane bushings, these shock absorbers are designed for a direct bolt-in replacement. The 1/2 inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy shaft has undergone rigorous testing to ensure reliability and performance. With adjustable valving for firm compression and rebound, these shocks are tailored to meet the demands of performance driving.
