The Holley Fuel Filter HydraMat is engineered to address the limitations of traditional fuel pick-ups in both stock fuel tanks and racing fuel cells. Its patent pending design effectively mitigates the risk of air entering the fuel system during dynamic driving conditions such as hard cornering, acceleration, and low fuel levels. By utilizing surface tension and fluid wicking, the HydraMat can draw fuel from nearly any area in contact with fuel, ensuring a consistent supply even when parts of the mat are uncovered.
This product features a unique internal reservoir that maintains fuel availability at the pick-up point, even under extreme fuel slosh conditions. The HydraMat's extensive coverage area allows it to eliminate the need for specialty reservoirs and pick-up pumps, simplifying installation and reducing costs. Additionally, it functions as a 15 micron pre-filter, negating the requirement for a separate filter before the fuel pump.
