The HN GP1080A model is an unmanaged, active Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch that supports the P.S.E. function, allowing for the transmission of electrical power alongside data over standard twisted-pair cables. With 8 ports supporting 10/100/1000Base-T(X) P.S.E., this switch is capable of delivering up to 30 watts per port based on the IEEE 802.3 At standard.
Operating effectively in a wide temperature range from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius, the HN GP1080A is suitable for various environments, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions. The switch features dual power inputs at the terminal block, providing a backup option to maintain continuous operation in case of primary power failure. This design enhances the reliability of PoE Ethernet applications, making it a robust choice for industrial networking needs.
Additional features include support for jumbo frames up to 9k bytes, auto-negotiation, and auto-MDI/MDI-X capabilities, which facilitate seamless integration into existing networks.
