Operating at frequencies from 800 kHz to 1200 kHz, the GCV 20 provides exceptional image clarity of structures and fish at greater depths compared to traditional high-frequency scanning sonars.
With a maximum power output of 500 watts, the GCV 20 enhances the visibility of targets beneath the boat, ensuring that users can scout fishing areas efficiently. The module is built to withstand harsh marine environments, featuring an IPX7 waterproof rating and a wide operating temperature range from 5 degrees Fahrenheit to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. Installation is straightforward, making it accessible for various boat setups.
The GCV 20 also supports seamless sharing of sonar images across multiple networked chartplotters, including compatibility with Panoptix all-seeing sonar technology. This capability allows for comprehensive scanning and monitoring of underwater environments, providing users with the tools needed for effective fishing and exploration.
