The Fox Shocks Performance Series 2.0 IFP steering stabilizer is engineered to enhance steering performance by reducing the load on steering components. This stabilizer is particularly effective for vehicles equipped with oversized off-road tires, which can cause steering instability. By utilizing advanced damping technology similar to that found in Performance Series shocks, it effectively mitigates steering feedback, ensuring that tires maintain a straight trajectory on various terrains.
Constructed from a 2.0 inch impact extruded and CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum, the one-piece body is designed to resist rust and provide durability over time. The internal IFP mono-tube reservoir design separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing performance. Additionally, the stabilizer features a race-developed high-flow piston design and application-specific valving to maximize responsiveness and control.
The stabilizer is equipped with a 1/2 inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft and a redundant sealing pack system that includes a main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal. This design ensures longevity and reliability under various conditions. The use of JM92 advanced suspension fluid enhances performance across a range of temperatures, while quiet nitrile rubber bushings allow for increased suspension articulation.
