The Fox Shocks Performance Series 2.0 IFP steering stabilizer is engineered to enhance steering performance by reducing the load on steering components. This stabilizer is particularly effective for vehicles equipped with oversized off-road tires, which can cause steering instability. By utilizing advanced damping technology similar to that found in Performance Series shocks, it effectively mitigates steering feedback, ensuring that tires maintain a straight trajectory on various terrains.
Constructed from a 2.0 inch impact extruded and CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum, the one-piece body is clear anodized to resist rust and provide a durable finish. The internal IFP mono-tube reservoir design separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing performance. The stabilizer features a high-flow piston design and application-specific valving, which work together to maximize responsiveness and control.
Additional features include a hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft and a redundant sealing pack system that enhances durability. The use of JM92 advanced suspension fluid ensures consistent performance across a range of temperatures, while quiet nitrile rubber bushings allow for increased suspension articulation.
