The Fox Shocks Performance Series Coil-Over IFP shock absorber is engineered with advanced technology to enhance vehicle performance. Its precision, metal impact extruded aluminum body not only increases cooling capacity but also provides rust resistance, ensuring durability in various conditions. The vehicle-specific upper mount features a composite bushing that effectively isolates noise and vibration, contributing to a smoother ride experience.
This coil-over shock is designed for easy installation, bolting on without modifications, and is suitable for both stock and lifted trucks that utilize the original shock. The internal reservoir with Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design separates the shock oil from the nitrogen-charged gas chamber, preventing oil aeration and maximizing performance through factory-tuned, precision valving. The locking spring preload rings facilitate straightforward ride height and preload adjustments, allowing for optimal spring rate selection.
With a focus on providing a comfortable on-road ride and predictable off-road handling, the Performance Series 2.5 Coil-over IFP is built to perform in tough conditions. Its robust construction includes a 2.5 inch anodized aluminum body and a race-developed high-flow piston design, making it a reliable choice for enhancing vehicle dynamics.
