The Fox Shocks Performance Series 2.0 IFP steering stabilizer is engineered to reduce the load on steering components while ensuring that tires maintain a straight trajectory. By utilizing advanced damping technology similar to that found in Performance Series shocks, this stabilizer effectively mitigates steering feedback, providing a smoother driving experience both on and off the road.
Constructed from a 2.0 inch impact extruded and CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum, the one-piece body is designed to resist rust and corrosion over time. The clear-anodized finish enhances durability, while the internal IFP mono-tube reservoir design separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing performance. The stabilizer features a 1/2 inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft and a race-developed high-flow piston design, ensuring reliable operation under various conditions.
Application-specific valving maximizes performance, and the redundant sealing pack system, which includes a main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal, enhances longevity. The use of JM92 advanced suspension fluid allows for improved performance across a range of temperatures, while quiet nitrile rubber bushings facilitate increased suspension articulation. This steering stabilizer mounts to original equipment locations, making installation straightforward and efficient.
