The Fox Shocks Performance Series 2.0 Shock is engineered for high-performance applications, featuring a robust aluminum body that effectively dissipates heat. This shock utilizes a metal impacted clear anodized finish, ensuring long-lasting durability and resistance to rust. The internal IFP mono-tube design separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, enhancing performance and reliability under various conditions.
Designed with a race-developed high-flow damping piston and application-specific valving, this shock provides predictable ride quality, making it suitable for handling rough terrains. The components are crafted from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum, including a black-anodized reservoir mounting clamp, which contributes to the overall strength and aesthetic appeal of the shock.
The 5/8 inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft and redundant sealing pack system ensure optimal performance and longevity. Additionally, the use of JM92 advanced suspension fluid allows for improved performance across a range of temperatures, while quiet nitrile rubber bushings facilitate increased suspension articulation.
